G2X Delays to Q4 2025

G2X update for all pre-order Artists!

Firstly this is Lee here designer for Quantum, I'd like to apologize for the slip of this product and delays it is going through, we have been responding to customers that reach out privately but I thought it would be wise to post openly to catch people wondering where the case is right now.

G2X was moved to a new factory that confirmed they could make it easily so we began the new tooling with them. However they had many delays getting the oversize plastic machines into place, once they were finally in and G2X was tooled, they found that the metal tooling for this model is getting caught on the plastic once molded, after multiple adjustments and retooling the mold and plastics were working well. It was however at this time the metal frame factory for this model has been causing no end of headache stalling on the frame production and not being cooperative to work alongside our existing factory.

Last month we took the initiative to step outside of Guangdong and go visit a much larger factory very deep into the Mainland and can confirm this factory actually has both extra large mold machines that will support G2X but also can make their own frames that should be perfect for us.

Our initial factory also luckily has given us their blessing to move the tooling to the new factory so we are currently processing prototypes in full right now.

We cannot give an exact lead time as for Artists that have known the company from inception, sometimes our cases launch fast, sometimes we just encounter random non-issues that just somehow become issues.

We are asking any customers that have been on preorder a while that would consider to swap out to a GTX to reach out to us and we will take care of you on this.

Hopefully all the rest of you can have your patience rewarded as soon as possible for holding out for this model.

G2X should be our Model 3 of guitar cases once launched, being the lightest, smallest footprint but also the most practical & safe case at a very affordable price.
